Samsung: New Smartphone
Hello
Another New :
Samsung hasn’t said much publicly about the new Galaxy S7 (or whatever its latest device will be called). Online leaks have pointed to a phone with beefed up technical specs, including a better camera, larger capacity battery, and a pressure-sensitive display that is similar to the 3D Touch feature in the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Will that be enough? Will Samsung surprise us?
The company did provide a link to a 14-second teaser video with my invitation to attend its Galaxy “Unpacked” press event in Spain, but the video doesn’t show off a glimpse of a phone. What you do see is someone donning Samsung’s Gear VR virtual reality glasses. The current version of those VR glasses, which are powered by Facebook-owned Oculus, requires one of four existing devices: the Galaxy Note5, S6 edge+, S6 or S6 edge.

Dispute:Nokia and Samsung
Hello.
This is interesting new:
Nokia has announced that it has settled a patent dispute with Samsung, and the Finland-based network equipment manufacturer says that this will boost its patent sales by hundreds of million euros. After this patent settlement, the revenue of Nokia Technologies would increase from €578 million in 2014 to around €1.02 billion (around $1.1 billion) in 2015, which includes catch-up payments from the past two years.
Nokia and Samsung entered into a binding arbitration in 2013 to settle additional compensations for Nokia’s phone patents for a five-year period, which started in early 2014. Nokia expects to receive at least €1.3 billion cash during 2016-2018 related to settled as well as ongoing arbitrations.
Galaxy S7 Design , more pronounced than the Note 5
Samsung has experimented with curved design since its Galaxy Round and flexible YOUM displays that are rather futuristic, if you look at the current market. The Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+ are the closest thing to curved design from the Korean giant we’ve ever seen, but Samsung isn’t done with curves just yet. The latest insider leak from OnLeaks shows that rumors have underestimated the Galaxy S7’s true design language. The leakster provides the latest drawing to show the difference in design between the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S7: while the Note 5 has a flat back cover with a camera hump, the Galaxy S7 will have a curved back – with a less pronounced, though still present, camera hump
Samsung Galaxy Tab E New Device
Folowing the release of the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 in Taiwan last week and the hordes of leaks surrounding the upcoming unveiling of the company’s refreshed Galaxy Tab E lineup, we now have some pretty solid information which suggests that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tab E 8.0, along with the unannounced Galaxy Tab E 7.0, Galaxy Tab E Lite and Galaxy Tab E Lite Kids in the United States later this year.
All four slates have made an appearance in a series of listings on the US-based independent retailer United Office’s website. Unfortunately, no information was given with regards to the specifications, pricing or availability of the devices. However, this is a good indication that the quartet is en route to the region.
Word on the street is that the Galaxy Tab E 7.0 will sport a 7-inch display, a 1.3GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage and 4G connectivity, while the Galaxy Tab E Lite is set to pack slightly less impressive internals.

Exclusive: Samsung Project Valley is a dual screen, possibly foldable, smartphone
Exclusive: Samsung Project Valley is a dual screen, possibly foldable, smartphone
The number of patents surrounding folding and dual screen smartphones that we have come across from Samsung would suggest that such devices would already be available in the market for consumers, but the reality is that such technologies take a long time in coming to the commercial arena from their prototype stages. But with theGalaxy S6 edge, Samsung has shown that it is ready to launch devices with unique form factors, and we now have exclusive information on what could be the company’s first dual-screen smartphone.
This smartphone is codenamed Project Valley (it’s also called Project V) and is in extremely early stages of development, and its ambitious nature means it might even be terminated at any time, something that happens with a lot of such projects. The device will support multiple gestures for switching between its two screens, and the fact that it is codenamed Project V/Valley suggest it could be a foldable device (the letter V is similar in shape to what a valley would look like, and it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think the phone could feature two sides that fold together.)
Rumors earlier this year had hinted that Samsung could release foldable devices by 2016, and if our information is accurate, the Korean giant could indeed be hard at work on meeting that deadline. Again, there is no guarantee Project Valley will ever be showcased to the public, but it’s a clear indication that Samsung is making unique smartphone form factors an area of focus in order to keep its stronghold in the mobile industry.
